Testimonials from past graduates

"Completing my 200hr YTT has been the most challenging, transformative and rewarding accomplishment. I am forever inspired by the lovely Melissa and Jenny, who have cultivated such a safe and loving space at Yoga Via. I appreciate & admire everyone who was beside me along the journey, and I am so lucky to have trained with such strong, wise, kind, & talented individuals. it is an honor and a privilege to share my practice with you all."

- Bailey J 2024 Winter Grad

"The Yoga Via RYT 200 exceeded my expectations. I looked into other training programs but when I found this one I knew it was the right fit. The class size was perfect. Jenny and Melissa were knowledgeable, caring and clearly love what they do. This training went beyond the asana practice and encompassed all eight limbs of yoga. I signed up solely to improve my asana practice and now I'm hooked and started teaching."

- Megan B 2024 Winter Grad

"Yoga Via provides a well-rounded teacher training program. The teachers truly are heart centered, and they complement each other so well. I’ve received amazing mentorship, and I feel I can go to my teachers anytime in the future with questions, etc. I learned a lot, and it felt like a balanced program between asana practice, lecture, reading, discussion, etc. I went into my training not wanting to teach and just to deepen my knowledge. I graduated excited about teaching, and I know it’s because of how well this program prepared me. I highly recommend this school to anyone considering."

- Katie M 2024 Winter Grad

"I want to express my sincere gratitude for the RYT-200 program at Yoga Via, led by the amazing teachers Jenny and Melissa. It was an incredible journey that brought about profound positive changes in my life. The bond I formed with my classmates was truly special, and their support and encouragement made the experience even more enjoyable. As someone who had no prior yoga experience, I was amazed by how this program transformed me. Not only did I gain an understanding of yoga and how to teach it, but I also discovered newfound confidence in my ability to lead yoga classes professionally. Jenny and Melissa's expertise and passion for yoga were truly inspiring, and their guidance played a crucial role in shaping me into the student-teacher I am today. I am forever grateful for this transformative experience, and I highly recommend the RYT-200 at Contact Climbing Gym and Yoga via Yoga Studio to anyone seeking personal growth and a profound connection with yoga."

- Kooper S 2023 Winter Grad

"As someone who is quite introverted, the Yoga Via 200hr teacher training program helped me find a newfound voice and confidence that I never knew I had! I’m also a slower learner, so to have such patient, kind teachers that I was comfortable enough with to ask questions was very important to me and they did not disappoint. I left the program feeling a deep connection to my teachers, my fellow students turned best friends, and most importantly myself! Even if teaching yoga isn’t an immediate goal for you like it was for me, this program will improve and deepen the meaning of your practice in ways I believe practicing on your own cannot. It was truly the most eye opening and grounding few months of my life so far!"

- Emma J 2023 Winter Grad

"I could not be happier with my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training experience! I originally signed up for the class to feel more confident in my body and in the studio amongst others. Jenny and Melissa are excellent teachers with a contagious passion for yoga. I not only gained confidence in myself, but i also found my teaching voice, made wonderful friends, learned anatomy, meditations, breath work, and what yoga truly means. This was truly a transformational journey and a catalyst for my own growth into the self."

- Otter P 2023 Winter Grad

"My experience in the Yoga Via 200hr Teacher Training was phenomenal. I gained competency in several styles of yoga asana, delved into anatomy, mindfulness practices, breathwork, and philosophy! I really appreciated the space the teachers created for us to be ourselves in this setting, to ask questions and make mistakes. Melissa and Jenny imparted so much knowledge to us from their years of experience, and also acknowledged that no matter how long someone has been practising there is always more to learn. I am grateful for the solid foundation of learning I received from this program and am excited to continue building on it!"

- Jubilee B 2023 Winter Grad

"The 200 hour Yoga training program at Yoga Via was transformative for my mind and body. I had been practicing yoga for about a decade and never considered teaching until becoming an active member of their studio. This program allowed me to deepen my own practice and learn about the philosophy of Yoga while making new friends along the way. The teachers are so welcoming and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this program to anyone wanting to become a Yoga Alliance registered teacher or to anyone who wants to deepen their practice."

- Stephanie E 2022 Fall Grad

“My yoga practice was very sporadic. I wanted something that was going to help me learn and be more consistent. Doing yoga here and meeting the teachers drew me in to this training. It was more than I imagined it would have been. I grew so much in my practice, not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. We all felt like a little family by the end of it. It was so rewarding to see my new friends progress and grow in their practice. The teachers and this studio created a safe place to learn and grow, I am so grateful my yoga journey started here.”

- Maddie L 2022 Fall Grad

"I will be forever thankful for this YTT experience and for the teachers I had that have so much knowledge. This is a place you can come and practice and learn and be yourself and has provided St. George with so much community. You know that when you come into this place you are not going to be met with any judgment. It is a place you can enjoy and express who you are. I am proud of myself, and I am proud of my teachers, this training was amazing."

 - Hali, 2022 Winter Grad

"Yoga Via was the perfect fit for me. I had looked into other training programs but when I found this one I knew it was meant to be. The small class size was a huge plus! I loved our guest teachers and found Jenny to be so encouraging, genuine, and knowledgeable. This training truly went beyond the physical element of yoga and encompassed everything I love about yoga as a whole."

 - Skye - 2022 Winter Grad

"Three words that I would use to describe the experience are enlightening, empowering, and humbling. This experience challenged me to develop a discipline in my life and also inspired me to create a space where I could honor and recognize my own strengths and potential and invite others to do the same for themselves. In this journey I was able to work with some talented and wonderful teachers with a wealth of knowledge and background in the Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Yin styles of Yoga. I also gained experience and knowledge around meditation, breathwork, cold immersion, and the philosophy of Yoga. The 200 Hour YTT allowed me to deepen my own practice. It also gave me a safe space where I can show up as myself and engage in the process of self discovery while being surrounded by a supportive environment of like minded individuals who are also working on themselves."
